The SP4-R is a specific mount for those who desire a perfectly flat mount but that can pull it out and turn for multiple viewing angles. Of course you have the stud alignment that will allow for this, which is 2 x 16 inch Stud bays where you can remove the center stud and use the 32" distance in the middle. If you have this and are looking for a great flat, picture-like look, then this is the mount.

- Recessed mounting plate installs inside of the wall between two 32" on center spaced studs by removing the center stud of three 16" on center wall studs.

- Maximum supported VESA compliant mounting pattern: 800x500.

We got our contractor to cut out some of the middle stud and he said it was not going to harm the wall and the result is awesome. I wish I could upload our tv pic, it's a great finish. I recommend this.
